From the first test to the first step.
BabyPilot Pro is a pregnancy and newborn planner for parents who would rather have one calm place for everything than six apps and a notebook. The due date, the forty weeks, every appointment, the hospital bag, the budget - and from the day they arrive, feeds, nappies, sleep, growth, vaccinations and every first - in one offline file that keeps your records on your own device.
Download the HTML planner, open it in your browser and start with one date, or explore the sample planner first: a whole pregnancy and the first eight weeks, fully recorded.
Week by week
- Your due date from your last period, your dating scan or the date in your notes - whichever you have.
- Weeks and days the way your notes write them - 24+3 - with the size of the week and a line about what is happening.
- What is usually offered at each stage, and whether it is already in your diary.
- The dates that matter: the end of the first trimester, halfway, the third trimester and full term.
Appointments that stick
Write your questions before you go and print the sheet: your questions with room for the answers, plus how you have been for the last four weeks. A questions sheet for the fridge gathers every upcoming appointment on one page.
The bag, the plan and the budget
Three hospital bags and the things people forget. A birth preferences sheet to tick and talk through with your midwife. A baby budget that shows what you spent, what is left, and what gifts, borrowing and second-hand saved you.
From the day they arrive
- One-tap logging for a feed, a wet or dirty nappy, or a sleep that just ended - built for one hand at three in the morning.
- Feeds: how many today, minutes at the breast, millilitres or ounces from bottles, the gap since the last one, and the other side suggested next.
- Nappies: wet and dirty counted against what is usual for their age, and judged against the time of day.
- Sleep: the day’s total, the longest stretch, and how long they have been awake against a typical wake window.
- A day sheet for whoever takes over: the last feed, the last nappy, the last medicine.
Growth that makes sense
Weight against the birth weight: the dip in the first days as a percentage, the day it came back, and grams a week since - plotted against your baby’s own start, in kilograms or pounds and ounces. Vaccinations and milestones are dated from the birth, so “eight weeks” becomes a real day, and every first is stamped with the age it happened.
Sensible checks
Nothing can be logged before the birth date or in the future. Overlapping sleeps are refused so the totals stay honest. A weight far from the last one is queried, because it is nearly always a typo or the wrong units. A second dose of the same medicine within two hours is flagged before it saves.
Private by design
These are health records about you and your baby, so they never leave your device. They are stored by your browser on your own machine, separately from the HTML file, and are never uploaded. Export a full backup at any time and restore it after a validation check.

Before you buy
Use a current browser with JavaScript and local storage enabled. Works on desktop, tablet and phone. This is a digital download; no physical item is shipped.
BabyPilot Pro is a planner and a record, not a medical device. Sizes, typical ranges, wake windows and expected nappy counts are general information - not a diagnosis, and no substitute for your midwife, health visitor or doctor. If you are worried about yourself or your baby, contact them straight away. The planner does not connect to your clinic, send phone notifications or sync between devices.
Frequently asked questions
How does it work out my due date?
From whichever you have: your last period plus 280 days, your dating scan counted forward to 40 weeks, or the due date in your notes exactly as given. A scan takes priority over a period date, and a date you enter yourself overrides both.
Can I use it before and after the birth?
Yes - that is the point. Enter the birth date when they arrive and the planner switches from counting down to counting up. The pregnancy stays on record, and every log starts working from day one.
Is it quick enough to use at night?
The buttons on the Today page log a feed, a nappy or a sleep in one tap. There is a dark mode for the night feeds.
Does it tell me if something is wrong?
No, and it does not pretend to. It shows what you logged against typical ranges - six or more wet nappies a day from about day five, for example - so you have the numbers ready when you speak to your midwife or health visitor. If you are worried, call them.
Kilograms or pounds? Millilitres or ounces?
Either. Choose in Settings and every weight, length and bottle is shown and entered in your units.
Can my partner use it too?
On the same device, yes. It does not sync between phones - export a backup on one and restore it on the other when you want them to match, or print the day sheet for whoever takes over.
Where are my records stored?
In your browser’s storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, and Daybound never sees any of it. Export a backup now and then and keep it somewhere private.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
Only to download the file. After that it works completely offline, with no account.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and the file is yours.
One-time purchase: $35, tax included. No recurring subscription - the price you see is the price you pay.
