These terms cover this website and anything bought from it. Buying a Daybound product means you accept them.
Who you are dealing with
Daybound is an independent maker of offline software. You can reach us at contact@daybound.store.
What you are buying
A licence to use a file — not the copyright in it. Every product ships with its own licence, and that licence is the agreement governing your use of the software. In short: install it on as many of your own devices as you like, for as long as you like; change it for your own use, including rebranding and translating it; and everything you create with it is yours. What you may not do is sell it, redistribute it, or publish its source as a template, theme or starter kit, unless we have granted you resale rights in writing.
Delivery
The download is issued as soon as payment clears. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder, then email us and we will send it again.
Updates
The file you buy is yours permanently and cannot be switched off. We may release improved versions; we do not promise to. What you are buying is the version described on the product page on the day you buy it.
What these products are not
They are organisational tools. They do not give accounting, tax, legal, medical or investment advice, and they do not check that what you record complies with the law where you live. Every figure they show is worked out from what you type in.
Your data
Daybound products keep your records in your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to us and we hold no copy — that is the whole point of them. It also means we cannot recover anything for you if browser storage is cleared, a device is lost or reset, or no backup was ever taken. Every product can export a full backup. Please use it.
This website
We try to keep it available, and we do not promise it will never be down.
Liability
Our liability for any claim connected with a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and protections provided by the laws of your country.
